Bios of Executive Staff
Steve Corona
| Mr. Corona has been President of JobWorks since 1984 and involved with the management of workforce development for over 25 years. He provides the overall executive leadership for the organization. Mr. Corona has been a board member of the U.S. Conference of Mayors Workforce Development Council for more than 15 years and is a former board chair. He regularly attends meetings of this national organization and has the opportunity to learn about best practices offered in various cities around the country. Mr. Corona also has board commitments in Fort Wayne that are valuable to his work in the employment and training field. He serves on the board of trustees at the University of St. Francis, the board of directors at Parkview Hospital, and the Fort Wayne Community School Board. As the leader of one of the largest workforce development companies nationally, Mr. Corona has strong relationships with individuals at USDOL, state governments, local organizations, WIBs and locally elected officials nationally. |
Lori Rice
| Ms. Rice is our Chief Financial Officer and has been accounting for JobWorks grant funds for over eight years and is experienced in providing financial information and reports to nine funding sources in Indiana, Ohio and California. Ms. Rice is responsible for all JobWorks’ grant accounting functions and will provide regular financial information and reliable fiduciary stewardship to JobWorks provision of services for all funding partners |
Dale Wengler
| Mr. Wengler is the newest member of the JobWorks Leadership Team, joining JobWorks in February 2009 as Sr. Vice President and Legal Counsel. He is the former Deputy Commissioner of Policy and Field Operations for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. Prior to entering workforce development, Mr. Wengler was Vice-President and General Counsel for a life sciences company in Copenhagen, Denmark where he oversaw their legal and human resources affairs for their European offices. As an attorney, his practice areas focused on corporate restructuring, commercial bankruptcy and labor and employment law. Mr. Wengler received his B.A. from Brigham Young University and his Jurist Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. |
Rebecca Griffiths
| Rebecca is a Regional Vice President with JobWorks. She was the formal supervisor for JobWorks staff in Region 3 and was instrumental in assisting the region with its integration initiative. She is currently, our chief Liaison to the Regional Operator in Region 6. In addition, she oversees JobWorks’ operations in Ohio and now oversees JAG programs in Region 1. During the first 3-6 months of PY09, Rebecca will assist with transition in Region 1 and have a key role in ensuring that our youth initiatives and JAG sites are on schedule and on track for great success. Ms. Griffiths has over 20 years of experience in the delivery of employment and training services. She has worked extensively in Indiana’s integrated system. In addition, Ms. Griffiths has experience as Center Manager in an integrated full service WorkOne. |
Rich Sewell
| Mr. Sewell is JobWorks’ Regional Vice-President for Marion County, Indiana and has over 23 years of experience in state and local workforce development. Mr. Sewell formerly served as a Deputy Commissioner for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development and also was the Executive Director of Interlocal Association. Mr. Sewell also ran a successful construction company in the Indianapolis area for over ten years. He has a B.S. in business and political science and a Master’s degree in public administration from Ball State University. |
Terri Simons
| Terri is JobWorks Regional Vice President in Region 4 and has over 9 years of employment and training experience. Ms. Simons currently serves Region 4 as the WorkOne Regional System Coordinator in the Kokomo Area. In this Role, Ms. Simons leads and supports the demand driven-skills focused, integrated workforce delivery system in the WorkOne offices located in Howard, Tipton, Cass, and Miami. Ms. Simons assists the Regional Operator in the design and implementation of services and in the development of appropriate policies and procedures. In addition, Ms. Simons services as a liaison between the Regional Operator and WorkOne teams overseeing the effective delivery of services. |
Mark Terry
| Mr. Terry is JobWorks Director of Information and Technology and has worked in the area of management information systems, grant writing, and workforce development program operations for over 20 years. Mr. Terry has been instrumental in developing and implementing the ACMS and Wood Software case management systems used in Indiana prior to TrackOne. Mr. Terry oversees JobWorks technology, MIS, and data analysis and is engaged in JobWorks grant writing. Mr. Terry will oversee technology, MIS, and data analysis. In addition, he is available to contribute to Region 1 efforts to obtain additional funding. |
